A UPS shipping label is needed for us to process your shipment. Shipping labels are generated when you create a shipment on ups.com, with UPS WorldShip, or with UPS CampusShip. The sample below illustrates a valid UPS shipping label generated by one of our shipping systems.

When returning a shipment, UPS will print a return label and deliver it to you for a nominal fee. When using a return label, you have the option of billing yourself, the person or company returning the package, or a third party UPS account.

Select this option if the shipment contains written, typed or printed communication of no commercial value. Not selecting this option implies that the shipment contains non-documents or documents of commercial value. Different destination countries have different definitions for documents of no commercial value. Applies to international shipments only.

A collection reference is an identifier that you define when you are scheduling a collection. This reference could be a purchase order (PO) number, a customer number, a company name, a Bill of Lading number, or a phrase that identifies that shipment -- such as "10 crates" or "gift for Mum." A collection reference can be any combination of letters and numbers up to 35 characters.
