A UPS shipping label is needed for us to process your shipment. Shipping labels are generated when you create a shipment on ups.com, with UPS WorldShip, or with UPS CampusShip. The sample below illustrates a valid UPS shipping label generated by one of our shipping systems.

If you want to use cash to pay your driver for shipping charges, select the check box. Do not select the box if you want to use a payment card or a UPS account. The total amount due to the driver will be listed when you finish and verify your collection request details. Your driver will bring the required shipping documents. Please note that a valid, officially recognised photo ID matching the person tendering the shipment will be required when paying with cash.

Select this option if the shipment contains written, typed or printed communication of no commercial value. Not selecting this option implies that the shipment contains non-documents or documents of commercial value. Different destination countries have different definitions for documents of no commercial value. Applies to international shipments only.

A pickup reference is an identifier that you define when you are scheduling a pickup. This reference could be a purchase order (PO) number, a customer number, a company name, a Bill of Lading number, or a phrase that identifies that shipment -- such as "10 crates" or "gift for Mum." A pickup reference can be any combination of letters and numbers up to 35 characters.
